Happy Thanksgiving!

I have many things to be thankful for...here's a few:

People spend a lifetime searching for happiness; looking for peace. They chase idle dreams, addictions, religions, even other people, hoping to fill the emptiness that plagues them. The irony is the only place they ever needed to search was within.

Summer is HERE!

The Way You Speak Says Alot About Who You Are

Use of swear words denotes a lack of class, or lack of the intelligence required to find more suitable language. Sometimes, the use of vulgar language indicates a person's lack of emotional control or a lack of control over thier mouth.

I, personally, am offended by all the bad language going around today! It doesn't matter if I'm at work, at the mall or just hanging out enjoying a beautiful day by the river...it's constantly thrown in my face and I'm tired of it! Do some people actually think this makes them sound 'cooler'? Or is it just a total lack of intellegence and respect for themselves and others? Don't young woman realize that it makes them so trashy? Don't young men know that most girls prefer that you refrain from using foul language and the ones that don't care are usually the trashy, low self esteem girls you don't want anything to do with?

When I was growing up my Dad always told me, "If a guy will swear in front of you, he has absolutely no respect for you"...well, looks like it's gonna be a long road before I find that man who has respect for me. Am I asking for too much?

Let's get back the respect we deserve, respect for ourselves and our loved ones!! Let's start by watching our mouths!

Cassidy Has Finished School

Where did the time go? It flew by and now my baby girl is done with high school, I can hardly believe it! She is the most amazing person...unique and beautiful. She's my best friend! I love you Cassidy May!!
